It is believed that Edward fell or attempted
to jump off the USS Belle Grove that was
docked at the Danang harbor and was swept
out to sea.A search was conducted and he
wasn't found anywhere.
Survived by his parents,Edward E & Eileen
Beck Sr and a sister all of Ohio.
Edward was promoted to GySgt while missing
and was declared dead 11 October 1978.
His remains were never recovered.
