Mrs. Kathleen Naomi Roper Abad, wife of K. D. Abad, U. S. N., attached to the U. S. S. Antares, died at 5 o'clock yesterday morning in a local hospital after a short illness.
She is survived in addition to her husband by her parents, Benjamin Roper and Mrs. Mary O'Dwyer Roper, of 124 Henry Street; sister, Mrs. Evelyn Ganguerra; a brother, William Roper, and two small children, Russell and Frances Abad.
The body was removed to the residence of Mrs. Abad's sister, 111 Randolph Street.
Mrs. Abad was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Arrangements for the funeral service will be completed today upon the arrival of Mrs. Abad's husband aboard the Antares now enroute from the South.
