Married Ruth Baldwin as his second wife. She is not the mother of son Eleazer. The following quote is from "A Catalogue of the Names of the Early Puritan Settlers of the Colony of Connecticut ..." by R Hinman 1852 page 333.
"Bruen, Eleazer ... John Baldwin Sr's second wife was Ruth, daugher of Henry Botsford, of Milford, and was the mother of Samuel, Daniel, Joseph, Timothy, Elnathan, Nathaniel, Jonathan and Ruth, the second wife of Eleazer Bruen. This Ruth died about 1717, and in her will, names Eleazer, her husband's son by his first wife, and her own sons Timothy and Obadiah, who seem to have been twins, as Obadiah died in 1774, at 64, and Timothy in 1778, aged 68."
