Brian was born in Berwyn, IL, May 28,1940, grew up in Stickney, IL, and passed away peacefully at home with family in Tarpon Springs, FL, October 22, 2020.
Brian proudly served in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Jay, Governors Island, NY. Brian an X-ray Specialist and Military Policeman was recognized as a marksman expert (second highest of 300), Rifle M-14, Pistol .45, received Good Conduct Medal. Additionally, he served as Staff Sergeant, Specialist 5th Class, medical unit, U.S. reserves.
Post Army he became an X-ray Technician, St. Anthony Hospital, Chicago, IL, 35 years. He met the love of his life, Mary Ann, a nurse at the hospital. Five years later they married and raised four children in Hickory Hills, IL.
An avid fisherman, he spent summers at his parent’s cottage, Eagle Lake, Kansasville, WI. He loved fishing with his family and fishing trips with his buddies to Rainy Lake, Canada.
Brian happily retired early at 55 to Tarpon Springs, FL. He and Mary Ann enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean and Hawaiian Islands, fishing on his boats, swimming at home, exploring Tarpon on his motor scooter, listening to polkas and visiting children and grandchildren. He loved his dogs Holly and Finley.
Brian will forever be missed. He will always be remembered as a loving husband of 54+ years, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, friend and neighbor.
He was predeceased by parents: George and Adeline Rench. Survived by wife: Mary Ann Spaniol Rench. Loving Children: Laurie (Joe) Frankowski, Debbie (Don) Doran, David (Jenny) Rench, Amy Rench. Grandchildren: Kaylin (Adam), Samantha, Donnie, Matt, Daniel, Jake and Emily.
Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater, FL. Private family service.
