Marjorie Ann Gillispie, 84, died Wichita Falls Marjorie Ann Gillispie, 84, of Wichita Falls, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2015 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Pursley and Rev. Rick Allen, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Marjorie was born on July 22, 1931 in Paris, Texas to the late Floyd Harral and Pauline Opal (Arnold) Abbott. She retired from Southwestern Bell and AT&T where she worked as an operator and PBX, and later retired from the Clinics of North Texas as a Switchboard Operator. Marjorie was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Glyn Gillispie on May 18, 2010; and her daughter, Sharon Ann Gillispie on December 21, 2004.

She is survived by her son, Perry Floyd Gillispie of Stephenville; her daughter, Glynda Ruth Spangler and husband Jerry of Wichita Falls; her sister, Ruth Clenteen Harmon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Ashlee Michelle Marshall and husband Stephen of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Sara Jane Gillispie, Jake Austin Gillispie both of Stephenville, Lori Spangler of San Antonio, and April Jones Partain; her aunt, Virginia Gilpin; and her nieces and nephews, Virginia Gilpin, Dr. Kelly Harmon, Craig Harmon and wife Teresa, and Dennis Gillispie and wife Marsha.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Humane Society of Wichita County, 4360 Old Iowa Park Rd, Wichita Falls, TX 76305; the DAV, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076; Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road
