Mrs. Opal Davenport, 74, of Chatsworth, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2005. She is survived by her husband, Calvin Clinton Davenport, daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Ronnie Greeson, Joan and Randy Greeson of Chatsworth, and Teresa and H.C. Williams of Ellijay; six grand-children, five great-grandchildren; sisters, Nellie Rogers and Nancy Sisson of Chatsworth; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 20 at 1 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Jackson, Rev. Robbie Chastain and Rev. Crafton Dover officiating. Burial followed in the Center Valley Cemetery. Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
