Buddy Dintelman passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on January 11, 1924 in Strawn, Texas to the late Ben Dintelman and May Brown Dintelman. Buddy was a devoted and loving husband to Freda Mae Dintelman for 66 years. Buddy was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Tyler and a recognized Christian. He liked working with his hands and truly enjoyed the years that he worked as a Baker at the Carlton Hotel. Buddy was a loving father, grandfather and friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, George Dintelman & Robert Dintelman; one sister, Dorothy Clark and his wife.
Survivors include one sister, Jean Welchel of Cedar Park; two children, Charlie Dintelman & wife Glenda of Lindale and Ben Dintelman & wife Cathy of Whitehouse; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and three step-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at Cottle Funeral Home Chapel, Troup on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 2-3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd, Tyler, Texas 75701.
