LA CENTER, Ky. - Mrs. Zada J. Ablett, 93, of La Salle, Illinois, formerly of Ballard County, died at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley, Illinois. A native of Union County, Mrs. Ablett was a member of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Gage. Services will be at Jones Funeral Home in La Center at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Wayne Parks will officiate and burial will be in Bethel Church Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, John F. Ablett of Vancouver, Washington, and Al S. Ablett of Peru, Illonois; a daughter, Elizabeth Mullen of Vancouver; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Nichols of Melrose Park, Illinois.
