Merle “Cliff” Eli, age 71, died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at his home in Yankton, South Dakota after a long battle with cancer.
Merle was born May 30, 1944 in Viborg, SD to Albert and Ruth (Bratberg) Eli. He was a former resident of Sioux City, IA and Dallas, TX. Cliff was formerly employed by Sunshine Food Market, Chesterman Bottling Company and Home Depot.
Survivors include his children Terry (Scott) Spidell, Kristi (Brian) Christle, Kim (Mike) Sullivan, Kirby (Jeaneen) Eli, 9 grandchildren and siblings; Marvin Eli, Ray Eli, Linda Bak, Lamay Chrissy and Gene Eli.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents.
