Obituary: Fairie Ball Kreyenbuhl, 96, West Union, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2006. She was born in Doddridge Couty on July 23, 1910 a daughter of the late Walter and Jane Reed Collins. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Ball on June 6, 1939 and her second husband, Edward Kreyenbuhl April 4, 1989. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Lattea, one step daughter, Mary Gissy, one son, Tom Ball, one step son, Leo Kreyenbuhl, eight grandchildren, Regina Metzger, Charles Ball, Cathy Richardson, Sue Cox, Pam Holston, Charlene Lattea, Brenda Donegan, Scott Depot, Scott Lattea, fifteen great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and several step grandchildren. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husbands were one son, Clyde "Bucky" Ball, one granddaughter, Denise Howard, one great granddaughter, Alana Ball, two step-sons, Bernard Kreyenbuhl, Joseph Kreyenbuhl, three sisters, Emma McKinney, Clara McClain, Virginia Kelley, and one brother, Elmer Collins. She was a homemaker and a very devoted mother, especially to her son, "Bucky". She attended the West Union First Assembly of God Church. Family received friends Monday, August 21st from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union, where funeral services were conducted at 1 pm on Tuesday, August 22nd with Pator David Masto officiating. Interment followed in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union.
