Norman W Schalk, age 88, of Schaumburg. He was the son of Elmer and Anna Schalk.

Beloved husband of the late Loretta B Schalk, nee Benson, whom he married on April 15, 1950; Loving father of David (Kathleen) Schalk, Deborah (Jim) Grischow, Robert Schalk (Denise) and Barbara Higgins. Dear Grandfather of Chad (Missy) Grischow, Eric (Christy) Grischow, Todd (Jennifer) Grischow, Erin and Shannon Higgins and great grandfather of Payton, Brooke, Olive, Margo, Olivia and Evan Grischow. Fond brother of Nancy Katalinich and the late Darlene Schalk.

Norman served in the Army during WWII.

He worked for United Airlines for 37 years.

Visitation at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 202 E. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg Wednesday from 9 AM until time of Funeral service 10 AM.

Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Alzheimer's Association , 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800 Chicago, IL 60631.
