Peacefully on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Sarnia, ON. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Eadie. Loving mother of Lynda Donovan (Brian) of Sarnia. Dear grandmother of Lauren Emanuel (Brian) of Halifax, and James Donovan (Christina) of Toronto. Proud great- grandmother of Jenna, Cameron, and Isabella Emanuel of Halifax. She is survived by her sister Edythe Richardson (the late George), her brother Harold McKay (Shirley) and many loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her dear son Gordon P. Eadie. A heartfelt thank you to Pat Howard for her wonderful friendship during Edna's years in Sarnia. A special thank you to the angels (staff) on 1 A at Vision Nursing Home for all of their special care and love. Visitation to be at the Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore & Baseline) on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Huntley Presbyterian Cemetery. Donations to Vision Nursing Home, a non-profit care facility, 229 Wellington St., Sarnia, ON N7T 1G9, would be appreciated by the family.
