A graduate of Garrett Kentucky High School in 1950, she married her high school sweetheart Carlos Higgins in 1950. Moving to Marengo in 1957, together they raised a wonderful family and traveled the world. Their trips to Hawaii, Spain, and Austria always remained special. After sharing 56 wonderful years, sadly Carlos died in 2006.
Earlie worked over 25 years as a school bus driver for the Buckeye Valley School District. A bowler and Pack 47 Den mother in her younger years, she was known as a fireball red head. At times stubborn and forever independent her life centered on the needs and activities of her family.
