AD Strickler, age 92, of Sandusky, passed away Friday, August 6th, 2010 at the Sanilac Medical Care Facility.AD was born June 13, 1918 in Peck, Michigan to the late Arthur D. and Elizabeth (Loughren) Strickler.
AD Strickler and Margaret Evelyn Stone were married on March 30, 1938AD Strickler, age 92, of Sandusky, passed away Friday, August 6th, 2010 at the Sanilac Medical Care Facility.AD was born June 13, 1918 in Peck, Michigan to the late Arthur D. and Elizabeth (Loughren) Strickler.
AD Strickler and Margaret Evelyn Stone were married on March 30, 1938 in the Elmer Free Methodist Church.

Mr. Strickler was a charter member of the Countryside Free Methodist Church in Sandusky. AD was a life long area farmer and carpenter. He was active in Recovery Inc.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Strickler, of Sandusky. Four children: Sharon Hazzard, William (Ellen) Strickler, Virgil (Bea) Strickler, Michael (Cheryl) Strickler, all of Sandusky. One daughter in law, Karen Strickler, of Marysville. Twenty grandchildren. Seventeen great grandchildren. One great great grandson. Two brothers: Russell (Ila) Strickler, of Peck; Elwyn (Marion) Strickler, of Skidway Lake. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by: an infant son, Roger Strickler, and son Ronald J. Strickler; son in law, Dale Hazzard; three sisters: Doris Strickler, Ethel Smith, and Dorothy Stiener.

Visitation Hours selected by the family will be Sunday, August 8th, from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, August 9th at 11:00 A.M. at the Hacker Funeral Parlors.

Pastor Paul Castle will officiate.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Sandusky, Michigan

Memorials may be made to the Countryside Free Methodist Church, Sanilac Medical Care Facility, or Marlette Hospice.
