Lucille Froman, 93, of Danville died at 12:35 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 21, 2015) at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.

Lucille was born in Canton, South Dakota on April 8, 1922, the daughter of Albert Pearl and Edith Pearl Selsor. She married Glenn Alan Froman on January 1, 1947. He preceded her in death. Her parents and two brothers also preceded her in death.

Lucille is survived by her two sons, Gregg (Tina) Froman and Gary (Karen) Froman; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and her brother, Bud (Sue) Selsor.

During World War II Lucille proudly served her country as a U.S. Army nurse on a hospital train in France. She retired from her nursing career at the VA Hospital in Danville in 1982. After her retirement she was actively involved with volunteer work at the VA.
