Allen D. "Butch" Bierschbach, 57, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home. Services will be Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Moore Purvis Chapel followed by burial in Little Black Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Bierschbach was of the Baptist faith. He served in the Army National Guard for 26 years and was called into active duty during Desert Storm. After being discharged, he worked at Mates at Camp Shelby and retired in 2006 as a Safety Coordinator for Nabors Off Shore.
He is survived by one daughter, Holly Bierschbach of Purvis; one step son, Andrew (Christy) Humphries; four grandchildren, Zoey Bierschbach, Kaia Humphries, Taigen Humphries, and Shyla Humphries; one brother, John Calvin Sartor of Nederland, Tex.; and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, November 23, 2015 from 5 - 9 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Purvis.
