Mrs. Mettie Ulmer Dies at Her Home in Hopkins
Mrs. Mettie Myrtle Ulmer, 69 years of age, died at 11 o’clock Saturday night at the family home in Hopkins following a long illness.
Mrs. Ulmer was born September 2, 1874, near Hopkins, and was married December 12, 1895 to E.[verett] H. [ebron] Ulmer. She had resided in the Hopkins vicinity most of her life.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Galen Ulmer, and C. J. Ulmer, and one daughter Mrs. Ivan Bridgewater, all of Hopkins; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one brother, Ora C. Morehouse, Represa, Calif.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist church in Hopkins with the pastor, Rev. Dan R. Gott, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Orlo S. Lincoln, pastor of the Christian church of Hopkins.
