Jacque L. Headlee, 68, of Greenfield died June 6, 2005, in Indianapolis. Born Nov. 22, 1936, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Harold and Ada Headlee.

He was employed as a police officer with the Greenfield Police Department and was a member of Hancock County FOP Lodge 140. He was a graduate of Greenfield High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1959.

Survivors include his mother of Greenfield; sons, Matthew Headlee of Fortville and Mark and Jonathan Headlee, both of Greenfield; daughter, Shari Enger of Fargo ND; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home in Greenfield with the Rev. Mark Bundy officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church.
