Agnes Elizabeth Zablocki De Stefano, 83, of 399 Berrymore Rd. Reidsville passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday November 21, 2015.
A funeral mass will be conducted at Holy Infant Catholic Church 2:00 P.M. Wednesday November 25, 2015, with Father Joseph Dinh officiating. She will be inurned in the columbarium of Saint Thomas Episcopal Church following the service. The family will receive friends following the committal service in the Pipkin Parlor of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
A native of East Orange, New Jersey, she was born to the late John Zablocki and Lulu Weinert Zablocki. Agnes retired from a long nursing career, graduating in 1954 with a degree in nursing from Saint Johns Hospital, Long Island City NY. She worked in several hospitals including Hammot Hospital, Erie PA and Annie Penn Hospital, Reidsville, NC. She traveled from Pittsburgh, PA, to Huntsville AL and finally to Reidsville NC in 1962 where she remained for the rest of her life. She stayed active in local elections, nursing groups and the local American Business Women Association. She was preceded in death by her dear cousin Robert Zutic.
