John Jacob Myers, 86, of Hamburg, AR, died Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Ashley County Medical Center. He was a retiree of Entergy, after working there for 46 years, a licensed masseuse and was a member of First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by one son, John "Jerry" Myers, his parents: Curtis & Ethel Golden Myers and one sister, Frances Duke. Mr. Myers enjoyed hunting, fishing and square dancing.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Heathcox Myers, one son, Glenn Myers, wife Carmella of Hamburg, AR, one sister, Joan Friday of Hallsville, TX, four grandchildren, Carson, Beau, Bobby and Charley Mae Rainey and a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Monday, October 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Pennington, officiating. Active pallbearers are Richard O'Neal, Mike Fulgham, Anthony Fulgham, Johnny McMurry, Kerry Hearnsberger, Terry Hearnsberger, Berry Hearnsberger and Milton Williams. Burial in Hamburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 4th from 4 to 6 pm in the Chapel at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc
