Racine -- Mary Lee Unrein, 65, died in the Lincoln Village Convalescent Center on Monday, December 29, 2008.
Mary Lee was born in Racine on March 15, 1943 the daughter of the late Simon and Bertha (nee Kreisman) Unrein.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and being with her longtime companion Robert Brunner, family and friends.
Surviving are her daughter, Pamela (Duane) Smith; four grandchildren, Heather, Holly, Heidi, and Duane Jr.; 2 great-granddaughters, Carly and Kayla; brother, Samuel (Judith) Unrein; sisters, Eleanore Pozel, Kathleen (David) Bohn, and Linda (Steve) Emmerling all of Racine; sister-in-law Diane Unrein of Kenosha, Robert's children, Roberta, Lori, Dorothy, Frances, Lydia and Peggy. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her.
In addition to her parents; her brother, Alex; and companion, Robert Brunner preceded her in death.
Her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2008 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1100 Erie St., with Rev. Esteban Redolad officiating. Private inurnment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to her daughter Pam Smith at 614 North St. Racine, WI 53402.
