MRS. SUBLETT DIES AT BROWNWOOD

Funeral services are to be held at 5 p.m. Thursday in the First Methodist Church for Mrs. Pearl Sublett, 53, who died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at her home in Brownwood.

The Rev. B. B. Byus, pastor of Highland Heights United Methodist Church, is to officiate, with burial in the Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Yates Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are to be E. Q. Daniels, L. W. Scott, W. H. Jobe, Lance Thompson, and Fred Goad, all of Sweetwater and Mack Walker of Abilene.

Mrs. Sublett was the widow of the late G. M. Sublett who died on July 31, 1939. She was born in Ellis County and came to Sweetwater where she lived for 31 years before moving to San Angelo to make her home in 1935.

She was a member of a pioneer Nolan County family.

She was survived by the following children: Ernest and Jack Sublett, Misses Pauline and Irene Sublett, all of San Angelo, Gwendolyne Sublett of Houston, Miss Myrtle Sublett of Abilene, Mrs. L. G. Headrick of Sweetwater and Mrs. Earl Young of Denison. The following brothers and sisters survive: L. G. Royal and John Headrick, all of Sweetwater and Earl Headrick of Sipe Springs, Mrs. E. N. Hefner of Sweetwater, Mrs. Roland Lowry of Slaton and Mrs. Jack Johnson of DeLeon.
