Memorial services will be Tuesday for Bess Hall Pearce, a 20-year resident of Rancho Palos Verdes.

Born Aug. 26, 1893, in Sweetwater, Texas, she died Jan. 21, 1986, at home.

Mrs. Pearce was a member of the Colonial Dames of the XVII Century and a 65-year member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, El Redondo chapter.

She is survived by two sisters, Nancy Helmbold of Illinois and Martha Leipziger-Pearce of Texas; two grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. at Riviera United Methodist Church, Redondo Beach. Private burial will be in Sweetwater.

Rice Mortuary, Torrance, is handling arrangements.

The family asks that donations be made to the El Redondo chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution , P.O. Box, 4142, Torrance 90510.
