Ill health is thought to have been the cause of suicide. Members of the family state that for three weeks Mrs. Shrader had been suffering extreme pain, although she complained but little and continued to do her housework.
Shrader, who is employed by the California Ink Company, left home accompanied by her son shortly after the morning meal today. Soon after they left, Mrs. Shrader went in the kitchen and took her life.
That there was no domestic trouble is declared by members of the family and friends.
Mrs. Shrader was 55 years old and had lived here for the last fifteen years. An inquest will be held at 10:30 o'clock Thursday morning.
