Former S'water Woman Dies Here; Funeral Today

Mrs. Ida N. Miller, 83, former Sweetwater resident, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Stewart Rest Home, 2102 Swenson St.

Born Oct. 14, 1874 in Franklin County, she had been making her home with a sister in Fort Worth for the past two years. She became seriously ill and was moved to the rest home here about two weeks ago.

Elliott's Funeral Home will have the body till 10 a.m. Wednesday when it will be taken to Sweetwater for services and burial. Funeral there will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Cate-Spencer Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Leonard Hartley, pastor of Lamar Street Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.

Survivors include one granddaughter, Dorsel Ann Blankenship of 1018 N. 16th St.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Terry of Fort Worth and Mrs. Willie Chessar of Waco.
