Tommy was a member of Center Point Free Will Baptist Church in Vilonia, where he served on the Deacon board for 48 years. He was a charter member of the Vilonia Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. He was owner of Tommy Fowlkes Construction, where he was a concrete finisher and dozer operator.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Brenda Loyd Fowlkes; a daughter, Tiffany (Shane) Brady of Vilonia, a son, Blake (Cynthia) Fowlkes of Wooster, 11 grandkids, who were the light of his life and loved very much; Cooper and Abiegail “Abie” Fowlkes, Macy, Mya and Jacob Brady all of Vilonia, Whitney (Josh) Brandt of Conway, Tristan Cochran, Jena and Angel Freeman, Brynlee and Taylin Fowlkes all of Wooster, brothers, Freddie ( Beverly) Fowlkes, Ronnie (Linda) Fowlkes, Johnny (Jackie) Fowlkes and sister, Karon (Jerry) Williams, sister in law, Oneita Fowlkes, brother and sister in law, Lee and Tammy Ramsey, all of Vilonia, and several nieces and nephews.
