CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Willadean Cheek, age 90, of Centerville, died Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Hospice of Butler and Warren County in Franklin, Ohio. Born May 25, 1925, in Jacksonburg, Indiana, to Cas and Martha Moore Crye, Willadean was a life-long resident of this area. She was 1944 graduate of Hagerstown High School. Willadean worked at Perfect Circle and owned Willadean’s Beauty Shop for over 55 years. She loved sewing, camping, working in the yard, gardening, and canning. Willadean was very family-oriented, and her children meant the world to her. Survivors include her daughters, Julie (Glenn) Wilson of Carlisle, Ohio and Sherry (Mark) Norwood of Randallstown, Maryland; grandchildren, Megan (Travis) Perdue of Miamisburg, Ohio and Ross Jacobs of West Carrollton, Ohio; nieces; nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Russell A. Cheek, who died February 22, 2012; sisters, Urma Doll and Irene Petty; and brothers, George and Allen Crye. Visitation for Willadean Cheek will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2015, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Mills Funeral Home with Bruce Ammerman officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonburg Cemetery.
