GOVERNMENT MARKER FOR SOLDIER'S GRAVE

L. M. Hubbard of this city has been advised by Judge R. E. Sparkman of Italy that the application for a government monument for the grave of his father, the late William Thomas Hubbard, had been approved upon request of his sister, Mrs. W. A. Rainbolt of Anthony.

The headstone will mark the grave of a well-known Confederate soldier who died and was buried here in March, 1924. The soldier enlisted at Richmond, Va. and served throughout the Civil War in the Army of the Confederacy. He was well-known in this section.
