COLUMBIA - Services for Addie Shumpert Sirmons, 77, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery, Pelion. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or American Diabetes Assn., SC Affiliate, 2711 Middleburg Dr., Columbia 29204.

Mrs. Sirmons, widow of William Luther Sirmons, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999. Born in Pelion, she was a daughter of the late Percy Legaree Shumpert and Hattie Mae Reeder Shumpert. She was retired from the SC Highway Department, former member of the National Campers Travelers, member of the VFW #641 Ladies Auxiliary, the Golden Age Club, the Friendship Club, White Shrine, Beltline Hat Band, the Capital Senior Action Center, Inc., and Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, William Richard Sirmons of Columbia; sisters, Sarah Shumpert Kinard of S. Congaree, Jean S. Kramer of Conn.
