Georgia Goodman, 71, died Saturday at Hendrick Memorial Center in Abilene.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Mount Rose Baptist Church in Sweetwater with the Rev. J.T. Garnett, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Mrs. Goodman was born on Feb. 25, 1922, in Milam County. She was a housewife.
Survivors include one daughter, Ida Faye Goodman of Abilene; one son, James Goodman of Dallas; two brothers, Johnny Hunter of Houston and Manse Abner Jr. of Dallas; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be George Blueford Jr., Patrick Goodman, Thomas Goodman, Ruben Pimpton, J. D. Davis and Charles Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Nelson, Allen Lockett and Odie B. Williams.
