Mrs. Ida Gideon of Sweetwater Dies at Wichita
Sweetwater, Nov. 9 - Mrs. Ida Gideon of Sweetwater, 86, a sister of C. P. Burklow of Abilene, died in a hospital in Wichita Falls about 1 p.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Gideon had been ill and in the hospital about five years in Wichita Falls.
She was born Oct. 3, 1871 in Kentucky. She came as a small child to Texas and lived in Erath County before moving to Nolan County about 1926.
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Sweetwater with Cate-Spencer Funeral Home in charge.
Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ella Miller of Fort Worth and Mrs. May Hendrix of Bellflower, Calif.
Mrs. Gideon's husband, Joe Gideon, died about 1945 in Sweetwater.
