JAMES COLCLAZER

Sweetwater - James E. Colclazer, 80, died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in Simmons Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Cate-Spencer Chapel with the Rev. Charles Bush of Roscoe First Baptist Church and the Rev. Raymond Dunn, pastor of Fundamental Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.

Mr. Colclazer was born March 20, 1891 in Texas. He married Mrs. Minnie Watts in 1935, in Hobbs, N.M. They lived in Hamlin before moving to Sweetwater 35 years ago. He was a World War I veteran.

Survivors include his wife; two step-daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Winn of Roscoe and Mrs. Odella Burleson of Midland; six step-sons, Roy Watts of Stamford, Chester Watts of Graham, Dee Watts of Sweetwater, Hubert Watts of Monahans, Tom Watts of Graham and Floyd Dozier of North Park, Va.; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dorman Scott, Gerald Stevenson, T. C. Nicholson, D. R. Mullins, Arthur Taylor and Charles Pittman.

The body will lie in state at Cate-Spencer Funeral Home until service time. The casket will not be open at the service.
