PIONEER WEST TEXAN DIES IN FISHER COUNTY
C. E. Bonner, 78, Was A. C. C. Trustee; Rites to Be Held Today in Sweetwater

O. E. Bonner, 78, resident of Fisher County for 30 years, and a trustee of Abilene Christian College for a number of years, died at his farm home 17 miles north of Sweetwater at 11:30 Saturday after an illness of three weeks.

The funeral will be held at the Church of Christ in Sweetwater at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will be in Sweetwater.

Mr. Bonner was for 45 years a lay preacher of the Church of Christ.

Besides his widow, two sons and one daughter survive, T. R. Bonner of Fisher County, J. S. Bonner of Midland, and Mrs. J. C. Hilbun of Littlefield. Mr. Bonner was also the father of the late Mrs. W. H. Free of Abilene, who died three years.
