Memorial services for Harvey Wayne Jacobs, 78, were held at 2 p.m., Feb. 19, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many.
Officiating were Rev. John Lawler, with the eulogy by his son-in-law and friend, Pat Newberg.
Mr. Jacobs, a long time resident of Many, passed away on Feb. 8, 1995, at Sabine Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. He had requested that his body be donated to LSU Medical Center in Shreveport.
Survivors include his children, Joni Newberg of Lafayette, Gerry Barnes and her husband Roger Barnes of Shreveport, and Thomas Jacob of Many; one brother, Carroll Jacobs of Shreveport; four grandsons; two granddaughters; one great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
