Rita Diane Langdeau was born January 13, 1951 to Francis Felicia and Velda Langdeau. She attended Lower Brule Elementary and Reliance High School in Reliance.
After high school, she started working with the Lower Brule School systems and worked there for over 20 years. On February 16, 1991, Rita married Jeff Ollerich. She later began working for the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe until late 2008. Rita enjoyed playing softball and watching football.
Rita passed away on April 5, 2010 at Sanford Mid Dakota Medical Center in Chamberlain at the age of 59 years.
