May Louise Stauffer, 89, formerly of 2474 Birch St. in Easton, died Tuesday morning in Gracedale, the Northampton County Home in Upper Nazareth Township.
Born May 30, 1900, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Lovine and Minnie Schan Werkheiser.
She was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ in Wilson Borough, Pennsylvania.
She was past president of the Woman's Auxiliary 169-A Amalgamated Transit Union.
Her husband, Chester Stauffer, died in 1981.
Surviving are two daughters, Alice Luparelli of Palmer Township, Pa., and Gladys Weaver of Wilson Borough; a sister, Pearl Hub of Phillipsburg; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services and interment will be private. The Morello Funeral Home in Easton is in charge of arrangements.
