Sgt. U.S. Army, Korean War-Sgt. Aniszewski was killed in action on 5-31-1951 while serving as a Light Weapons Infantryman with the 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division.

He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Aniszewski of Rockford, Illinois, and is a 1936 graduate of the Rockford School System.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Korean Service Medal with One Service Star, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation, Army Good Conduct Medal.
