Gertrude E. Brady, 76, of the Gibson City, Strawn and Champaign areas, died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1969 at the Americana Nursing Home in Champaign, where she had resided for some time.
Mrs. Brady was born Jan. 11, 1892 at Corydon, Ind., a daughter of James I. and Minnie Ellen Dooley McKim.
She was married to Edward D. Brady June 23, 1934 at Corydon, Ind. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Walker, Elkhorn, Wis.; two grandsons; a brother, Jesse D. McKim, Corydon, Ind.
A grandson also preceded her in death in 1968, a victim of the Vietnam War.
Mrs. Brady was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Dorcas Society.
