He was a retired chief engineer with Palms of Pasadena Hospital, St. Petersburg, and a World War II Army veteran. He was a Protestant. Survivors include his wife, Wanda; two sons, Mike, Clearwater, and Ted, St. Petersburg; a brother, Wade, Branson, Mo.; a stepbrother, Bernard Crigger, Winchester, Ky.; three sisters, Catherine Bostaph and Grace Heddleston, both of Akron, Ohio, and Elizabeth Brown, Portland, Tenn.; and three grandchildren. Hooper Memorial Funeral Home, Inverness.
