FUNERAL OF ‘HARVE' ARNOLD ON SUNDAY
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Hastings Methodist Church by Rev. David L. Long, for William Harvey Arnold, aged 66 years, who died last Thursday evening at his home on Beaver Street. Burial was in the Union Cemetery. Mr. Arnold was in failing health for the past year, bed fast about two weeks prior to his death.
Born in Millport on November 2, 1876, he was a son of George and Hannah (Grenn) Arnold. "Harve," as he was familiarly known here had been a resident of Hastings for the past 45 years. Mr. Arnold at one time conducted the first bus service in this vicinity.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Theresa (LaBelle) Arnold; a brother, Gus Arnold, of New Millport, and a sister, Mrs. Gray Williams of Jersey Shore.
