Howard M. Benden Of 1090 Hollywood Drive, Beaver Falls, a native of Elstie, died in United Hospital, Beaver Falls, at 4 p.m. yesterday, Aug. 25, 1971. He was born Sept. 11, 1895, a son of Robert and Ellen (Chirdon) Benden, and married Pearl Harr.
Surviving are his wife, five children, Homer P., Lyman E., Regis L., Faber E., and Mrs. John T. Estermeyer of Beaver Falls; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and four brothers and sisters, Arthur E. of Barberton, Ohio, James O. of Ebensburg, Mrs. Sullivan Pasquel and Mrs. Ethel Miller of Beaver County. Mr. Bender was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Beaver Falls. He was a veteran of WWI, member of the American Legion of Rochester and a retired employee of Standard Steel Specialties Co. of Beaver Falls.
