Joseph L. Anglemyer, 88, of 1638 Forest View Drive, died of infirmities at Omni Manor Nursing Home.

Mr. Anglemyer was born Jan. 4, 1905, in Leetonia, a son of Thomas and Alice Anglemyer. He worked for 20 years for U.S. Steel and retired in 1969.

He leaves his wife, the former Martha J. Lydic, whom he married April 6, 1957; two sons, Elmer of Youngstown and Joey of Farmdale; four daughters, Mrs. Ariene Chismark of Niles, Mrs. Norma Goodhart of Youngstown, Mrs. Nancy Hull of Austintown and Mrs. Elsa Hunsbarger of Struthers; two sisters, Mrs. Marion Conner of Struthers and Mrs. Madeline Garrod of Columbiana; 13 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Three brothers, Thomas, Russell and Byron, and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Borton, are deceased.
