"John G. Murray, the son of Mrs. Jane Murray of this city, was married at his home in West Point, Kentucky, to Miss Stella Applegate of that city, Thursday evening. The couple, after a short visit to Hannibal, arrived here Saturday and are the guests of Mrs. Murray. Mr. Murray is a young man of excellent habits and is worthy of his attractive bride." "John G. Murray, 58 years of age, died at his home in Kansas City Sunday of pneumonia. Mr. Murray contracted pneumonia Thursday and the end came Sunday night. The body will be brought to Chillicothe for interment in Edgewood, the funeral party reaching here Wednesday morning on the Burlington 10:50. There will be short services at the grave. The services will be conducted by Rev. J. D. Hunt.

Besides the wife, the deceased is survived by four sisters, Mrs. H. H. Hitt of Mooresville, Mrs. Carrie Clergy of Kansas City and Misses Laura and Dora Murray, also of Kansas City; and two brothers, Bob of Kansas City and Jim of Louisville, Ky. He is also survived by his six year old daughter, Thelma.
