BETTENDORF — Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Christina Marie Healey, 29, a resident of Bettendorf, were held privately with her immediate family Monday, Nov. 16, 2015. The Celebrant of the Mass was Reverend James J. Vrba, Pastor of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Following the service, the rite of cremation was accorded. Inurnment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.

Christina died unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015.

She was born July 30, 1986, in Davenport. She was blessed to be adopted by Thomas Patrick and Mary Joan (Smith) Healey. Christina graduated from Pleasant Valley High School, Class of 2005. She was a member of the swim team, flag corps, and marching band. She enjoyed playing the flute and was a talented artist.

She had been employed by APAC for the past 18 months.

Christina had a heart of gold. She had great love for her family. She was proud of her children and loved them more than words could express. They were her greatest joy in life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to an educational fund to be established for her children. Memorials can be made in care of Mary Jo.

Those left to honor her memory include her three children, Ella, Jacob and Mikaley; her mother, Mary Jo Healey-Mills and Rodney Mills, Bettendorf; siblings, Cara (Justin) Cromie, Kaitlin Mills, Brianna (Eric) Schimp, and Andrew Healey; her grandmothers, Joan Smith and Marjorie Mills; a niece and nephew, Caroline and Ethan; as well as additional family members, Carol Dominguez, Tony Shelton, Annie Hunt, Melody Shelton, and Angel Shelton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Healey; her grandfathers, Russell Smith, Thomas Martin Healey and Floyd Mills; two beloved aunts, Cathy Lovgren and Nancy Smith. May they rest in peace.
