Daniel M. Archer Dies In Nursing Home
Daniel Milburn Archer, 82, Hopkins, died at 11:30 p. m. Monday at the Nodaway Nursing Home, Maryville, where he had resided the past seven years.
He was born July 12, 1886, at Corbin, Kan., and was the son of the late Elmer and Lucy Archer. He was married Dec. 23, 1910, to Miss Ethel Clark, at Billings, Okla., who preceded him in death in 1960. He was a retired farmer and a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Maryville.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a. m. Thursday at Swanson Funeral Home, Hopkins. The Rev. Norman Abbott will officiate and burial will be in a Hopkins cemetery.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Walker Smith, Marathon, Ia.; three sons, Donald Lee Archer, Seattle, Wash.; Daniel Archer, St. Peter, Minn., and Milburn Forest Archer, Blockton, Ia.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Jim Richardson, Maryville.
