Mrs. Prevatt was born on October 6, 1926 in Valdese, NC, to the late Felix and Ida Whitener, and was the youngest of 16 children.
A life time member of Green Street Baptist Church, she was very involved in many church activities when she was able.
Mrs. Prevatt is survived by a son Rod Prevatt and his wife, Marsha of Roanoke, VA; a daughter Pamela P. Clark of High Point. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters.
Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. (Edited by Jeff Lovelace.)
