Jacob William Bowman, 90, 764 W. 3rd North, died of causes incident to age Saturday, 4 p.m., in a Salt Lake nursing home. Born Dec. 18, 1873, Salt Lake City, to Jacob and Maria Carper Bowman. Married Marie Hottinger, Sept. 28, 1898, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died April 2, 1945. Custodian, Salt Lake Board of Education. Retired plasterer, Union Local No. 68. Survivor: son, Lester W., Salt Lake City. Funeral Thursday noon, 260 E. South Temple, where friends call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m., Thursday prior to services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
