Miss Amanda Crissman, formerly of the city, died Monday morning at the Daughters of Rebekah home, Avalon, Pittsburg, at 2:15, following a stroke of paralysis received several months ago. She was born at Pennsylvania Furnace, December 18, 1843, and was the daughter of Frederick and Hannah Crissmon, both deceased. For many years Miss Crissmon resided in this city with her brother, the late F.P. Crissmon, at 1006 Seventh avenue. She entered the Rebekah home in December, 1915, and was a member of the Second Lutheran church, this city, and one of the local lodges of Rebekahs. One sister, Mrs. Mattie Klinefelter, of Volant, Lawrence county, and two brothers, Scott, of Williamsburg, and Rev. F.H. Crissman, of Elkins, W. Va., survives. The body arrived yesterday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Second Lutheran church, followed by interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
