H. Wayne Ridgely, age 73, of Frederick, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015, at home.
Born September 25, 1942, in Olney, MD he was the son of the late William Brice Worthington Ridgely and Carolyn Naomi Pickett Ridgely. He was the husband of Joan Koontz Ridgely.
Wayne was a retired police officer from the Howard County Police Department.
Surviving in addition to his wife is his sister, Carol Ann Wheatley of Cambridge, MD and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Arthur Brice Ridgely and Gary W. Ridgely.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 11am until 1pm at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a funeral service will be held at 1pm. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Marriottsville.
