DIED, In the county of James City at Windsor, the residence of her son, on Thursday, Jan. 9th, Mrs. ANN BUSH, in the 80th year of her age. It is melancholy to reflect how rapidly the scanty remnant of a past generation, embodying all the true attributes of the Virginia character, and distinguished for its primitive plainness, its chivalry and its patriotism, is passing from the active scenes of life. The subject of this obituary was one of these, and in her were faithfully represented the manners and customs of her times. It were needless to reflect upon the many qualifications of her nature, which constitute female excellence in the varied relations of life. It suffices to say, she lived as she died, in purity and holiness. B. --The Richmond Whig (Richmond, Va) January 28, 1851.
